Chapter Six: Friendly Interest

“The strawberry and banana smoothie is heavenly,” my friend Treena exclaims as we sit at an outdoor table beside a small diner. “This place should be put on the map for their smoothies.”

I chuckle. “Well, you certainly enjoy your share of their smoothies. Maybe you should talk to the owner about letting you franchise your own location.”

Treena’s eyes light up. “Hey, that’s an idea.” We both laugh as I put my own smoothie down on the table and look at the street nearby. My thoughts are not completely with our conversation today as I consider Russ and our trip to the casino in a few days. “You’re somewhere else,” she tells me as she puts her smoothie down as well. “What’s up, girl?”

I sigh. “Well, I have this thing that I am going to with Russ and Marcus.”

“At the same time?” my friend laughs.

“Well, yeah. They get along really well now, you know? Besides, this is mostly for business.”

“Business?” Treena raises an eyebrow. “Do you mean that company you put money into?” I nod my head. “What are you going to be doing during your thing?”

“The casino group that owns the casino and hotel across the river has hired Marcus’s company to make a nationwide commercial for them. It’s a lot of money and Marcus has accepted an invitation from them to visit the place with all of the investors and have a little fun.”

“Playing the slots?” my friend jokes.

“Yeah, I guess so. Maybe that and some other things. Anyway, there will be several of us there together and Marcus suggested that I wear a cocktail dress the first evening.”

“A cocktail dress?” Treena snorts a little as she laughs. “He’s trying to doll you up for the others?”

“He says so,” I reply. “It might be for him as well. Russ is a little less than thrilled to be there with me, though. He doesn’t like gambling.” I have never shared with my friend the story about Russ’s mother, and I do not plan to do so now. I promised my husband that I would keep that between us, and I plan to keep that promise.

“How are things going between the three of you?” Treena asks.

I shudder a little as I think about the day before yesterday. “Marcus came over to talk about the trip with us and then walked up to me at the end of it. He pushed his dick into my mouth right in front of Russ.”

“What?” She laughs at first, but then says, “You’re serious? He didn’t even ask?”

“No. He just pulled it out and put it in.” Shaking my head, I continue, “I don’t mind him doing that in private between just the two of us, but it was a little embarrassing that he did that in front of Russ.”

“Russ watches, though, right?”

Nodding my head, I reply, “Yeah, he does, but it was completely unexpected.”

“Did you like it?” Treena asks. I nod my head again. “You’re into that sort of thing, huh?”

I giggle a little.
